The family of former Governor Sid Mc-Math says they hope he`ll be out of the hospital soon after undergoing treatment for an irregular heartbeat. His son, Phillip Mc-Math, said Friday that the 93-year-old former governor should be able to go home within a few days. The former governor was at University Hospital for about ten days before he was transferred to Baptist Rehab on September 19th. The former governor`s wife, Betty, said her husband was doing much better and was doing exercises he had been given by doctors. She said he was looking forward to getting out and returning to his book signings. Mc-Math`s autobiography, "Promises Kept," was recently released. McMath was governor from 1949 to 1953.
