Vernon Humphrey To Challenge Marion Berry In 2004

First District Congressman Marion Berry has an announced opponent for next year`s election. Retired Army major Vernon Humphrey of Mountain View says he`s running for the Republican nomination to oppose Berry, a Democrat. Humphrey says he wants to address prescription drugs and education in his campaign, as well as the role businesses play in the economy.
