Police arrest daughter, son-in-law, for woman's death

Police have arrested the daughter of a businesswoman found dead in her home Saturday. Leslie Mckool was arrested last night in connection with Janie Ballards death. Leslies husband Mike was also arrested. Both have been charged with capital murder. Police tell News 4 Arkansas money may have been the motive for murder. "It appears that a will was changed excluding the daughter from her will," says Little Rock Police Sgt. Terry Hastings. "It made the daughter upset and she attacked her mother at home and killed her." Ballard was the owner of Shepards Printing, Inc. on West Markham Street. Both suspects are expected to be arraigned tomorrow. If convicted, both could face the death penalty.
