A local community says its a lot safer now that a traffic light has been installed along Barrow Road. The Pennbroke Cloverhill Neighborhood Association lobbied the city for a traffic light. On Saturday, the group held a thank you party for the city on the lawn of a nearby school. Members say drivers sped down the street and several people were hit. Last month, the light was installed just before the first day of school. The group plans to work with other neighborhood associations to get lights installed in their areas.
