repeated his pledge to announce by the end of next week whether he
will seek the Democratic nomination for president.
The news came yesterday as Clark`s supporters rallied in more
than a dozen Arkansas cities. The Little Rock resident is being
urged to run by groups that have formed across the country, saying
Clark would make a candidate who could beat President Bush in
November.
Last night, Clark addressed supporters in a speech relayed via
the Internet.
Second District Congressman Vic Snyder was in the crowd at a
downtown Little Rock restaurant waiting to hear Clark`s recorded
message. Snyder says that if Clark runs,he`ll support him.
