By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A post office has threatened to stop delivering mail to parts of Jefferson County because of bad roads. A letter sent by the White Hall Post Office to Hardin residents says bad roads compromise the safety of its workers. Officials are working on a compromise. "The alternative for them is to relocate their boxes or for us to hold their mail for them to pick up at the post office, " says Leisa Tolliver-Gay, a customer relations coordinator with the United States Postal Service. So far, the post office hasn`t stopped delivering mail. Officials say theyre working with county officials to get the roads repaired.
