A man who Faulkner County prosecutors say beat his six-week-old daughter to death has drawn a 40-year prison sentence. Jason Pelham entered a no-contest plea to a first-degree murder charge. The 25-year-old Pelham was sentenced yesterday, a day after he entered his plea. He was to have gone to trial yesterday. Police say that the baby`s mother found infant Juliet bruised and not breathing on November 15th, 2001. Pelham`s attorney, Frank Shaw, has said his client suffers from impulse control disorder.
