We`ve all seen the "red planet" in movies. Well, now is the time to see it in real-life.
It`s been thousands of years since Mars has been this close to earth. It`ll be thousands of years more before it happens again.
Arkansas groups are marking the event with special parties.
In Central Arkansas, Mars-gazers are meeting this Saturday night at the Pinnacle Mountain State Park Visitors` Center. A discussion with Mars experts kicks things off at 8 p.m.
