Brian Little is heading to San Diego. It`s his first flight in four years and the increased security is a welcome change.
"I think there`s more security," says Little. "I think it`ll be harder to get things on the plane to do harm."
Chris Nale travels more frequently He also gives the thumbs up to airport screeners.
"I have a carry-on with paper and documents and they go through that and go through each compartment to make sure there`s nothing there," says Nale.
But the Transportation Security Administration isn`t resting on its laurels.
"The thing that matters most to us is not how good we were yesterday, but how good are we today and how we`ll be tomorrow," says Henderson.
T-S-A screeners at Little Rock National Airport confiscated about 1300 items last month. Officials say they take their job personally.
"One of the things we tell our screeners here in Little Rock is that we screen our passengers like our family is going to be on the flight with those passengers," says Henderson..
Brian says it important to keep that in mind when we take to the skies.
"Don`t try to cause any problems at the airport. Be courteous and conscientious to the other people and the job they are doing here at the airport," he says.
