Arkansas is under a heat advisory today. It`s the ninth day in a row. And that sweltering heat isn`t just touch on our bodies, it`s also tough on our cars. That`s why the highway department has a free motorist aid patrol. Two trucks patrol interstates in the little rock and west memphis metro areas, looking to help stranded motorists get back on the road again. Shandale Smith MOTORIST ASSISTANCE PATROL "You`ve just got to be willing because it`s dangerous out there and you`ve got to be focused on what you`re doing and your surroundings at all times." If you`d like the assistance of the motorist aid patrol, just call them at area code 501-569-2266. They work from 5 a-m until 9 p-m weekdays,a nd from 8am to 8pm weekends.
