Forrest City Snake Invaders

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
The hot weather is forcing some Forrest City residents to feel like they`re hostages in their own homes. It`s not the temperatures themselves but what those temperatures are bringing to the neighborhood: big snakes and lots of them. Marsha Jimmerson lives next-door to where a 6-foot rattlesnake was found. "Uhh. I can`t stand them," she says, shaking her head. "Can`t stand them at all. I hate them." Jimmerson`s feelings are so strong, now she`s thinking about moving out. Until then, she says she has a plan: cut the grass and stay inside. When that didn`t work, Jimmerson just stayed away. "I just hopped on my car. I stayed there til my son killed the snake. I wasn`t getting down."
