Draft Wesley Clark Goes on Television

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Plenty of candidates have thrown their hats in the ring to fight for President of the United States. One campaign has already taken to television ads, even though they don`t have a candidate yet. DraftWesleyClark.com has made history by being the first draft movement to launch a television campaign. "We`re the third ones on t.v. and we don`t even have a candidate yet. This is a testament to just how strongly people feel about General Clark," say Josh Margulies and John Hlinko, co-founders of DraftWesleyClark.com. Margulies and Hlinko say they`ve raised over half-a-million dollars in pledges and are aiming for $1 million by Labor Day. Another local movement, Draft Clark 2004, has even started radio ads and just opened their Little Rock headquarters this month. Meanwhile, General Clark still hasn`t announced whether he plans to run. He said in June that he would make that announcement a couple of months from that time, but he did not set a specific date.
