Cheerleading Mom Allegedly Attacks Coach

The mother of a Lincoln High School cheerleader has been accused of physically and verbally assaulting the squad`s coach. Melissa Leach turned herself in to Bentonville police after a warrant for harassment was issued for her after the alleged confrontation last week with cheerleading coach Helen Campbell. Campbell told police she handed down a punishment to Leach`s daughter, Lindsey Leach, for missing three practices. Campbell says Melissa Leach came to practice, yelled at her, struck her in the face, pushed her and threatened her. Melissa Leach was released on a citation and is to appear in court September Ninth.
