After nearly 20 months in a coma- a Stone County man is defying the odds- but his family is having a tough time paying the bills. Back in 1984, Terry Wallis got in a bac accident and went into a coma. Two months ago- Wallis came out of it and hif family says he`s speaking nonstop. He`s now going through physical therapy in Little Rock where doctors say he`s showing tremendous progress. The problem is the family`s coverage is near running out and they can`t afford to keep it up. "They can`t keep working with him forever, the money is going to run out." says Wallis` mother Angilee Wallis. "He can`t contiue to have therapy indefinately and he needs it. It`s going to take a long time to undo 19 years of laying there," says Wallis. If you would like to help you can send a donation to the Terry Wallis Fund at the First National Bank of Izard County in Mountain View.
