Screeners at Little Rock National Airport want the public to know if there are hidden explosives in baggage, they`ll find them.
That`s the message from the Transportation Safety Administration one day after an alert about Al Qaeda plots involving cell phones and laptop computers. Local screeners say the antenna of a cell phone can be made into the barrell of a gun. Such devices usually don`t work. That`s why travellers are asked to turn on phones and pagers at security stations.
Fliers are asked to dig their small electronics out of their carryons before its their turn to pass through security. That way each item can be X-rayed separately and finding them doesn`t hold up the line.
