Arkansas Fishing Report: with Big Sarge (May 16 - 22)

Before we get to your weekly fishing forecast, just want to point out they're still catching eight- to ten-pounders up around Lake Atkins so try to head up there and catch you some fish. Sinkos will do the trick.
This week, the bass fishing is extremely hot on Lake Maumelle. They're biting on skinny dippers. We're going to talk about that a little bit later.
If you like to catch brim, Lake Conway -- the brim are on their beds. You can get on the bank and catch all the brim you need.
Greers Ferry -- extremely hot on small mouth fishing if you like those. You can catch them on shaky head or Carolina rig.
Brush Hog, Peter Creek, Cold Creek, Lake Dardanelle: they're catching a lot of fish up there in the grass.
You can use a jig or a sweet beaver's gonna work real well.
Our latest lure of the week: a swim bait called the skinny dipper. It comes in white trash or sexy shad. They're killin' em over at Lake Maumelle on this so throw it out to the bank and swim it back over the flooded grass.
