KARK Employees Take Part in 2011 LR Marathon

A number of KARK 4 News employees took part in Sunday's Little Rock Marathon.

Meteorologist Greg Dee ran the full marathon in 4:54:11. He trained for months to get prepared.

KARK 4 Account Executive John Franks also completed the full marathon with a time of 4:02.

KARK 4 News reporter Lauren Trager ran the 4th leg of a relay team named: Hugs Not Drugs. They ran in about 4:29.

Creative Services Director Phil Wrobel also took part in the race. He ran the half marathon in 2:07:25.

KARK 4 News Managing Editor Greg Yarbrough also ran the half. He finished in 2:03:46.

Photojournalists Jay Bir and Drew Williams also ran the half. Bir is proud of his finish at 1:58:03. Williams who has also been training for some time, finished his race in 3:37:44.
