Training Tip 21 from Little Rock Marathon Coach Tom Singleton:

This week's a great milestone in our training program, the infamous 20-miler.

It doesn't need to be something you dread. It needs to be something you look forward to, a dress rehearsal for the marathon.

Get plenty of rest, hydrate, eat the things you're gonna eat the night before, two nights before. Get up in the morning, be sure you have your gels packed, the outfit that you're gonna wear, your shoes, you've got everything ready for race day.

That's what you need to be in for your 20-miler.

It's gonna be fun!
