Conway Teen Claims $100K Lottery Prize

By: Newsroom Solutions
Updated: February 8, 2011
One of the first things Madison Kuykendall did after turning 18 last month was buy an Arkansas Scholarship Lottery ticket.

The Conway resident got lucky with her "Giant Jumbo Bucks" instant ticket, and yesterday cashed it in for her $100,000 prize.

So how will the high school senior spend it?  Kuykendall says it will pay her living expenses when she starts college next fall.

Lottery spokeswoman Julie Baldridge calls this win "a different kind of lottery scholarship."
