$168 Million up for Grabs in Tonight's Mega Millions Drawing

By: Greg Yarbrough
Updated: December 23, 2010

Tuesday no one won the $145,000,000 Mega Millions jackpot, so the jackpot for tonight’s draw increases to $168 Million.

However, Tuesday night there were smaller winners in Arkansas.  Sixteen lucky ticketholders won prizes in the multi-state game, which is played by picking six numbers and hoping some or all will match the six numbers drawn.

The following is a list of Mega Millions wins.  No one will know the identity of the winners until they present their ticket at a Claim Center (Little Rock, Jonesboro, Camden, Springdale) for payment:

$40,028          Marion Flash Market #334             Marion

$40,000          Perry County Food & Drug            Perryville

$600               Two in Little Rock, two in Fort Smith, and one each in Harrison, Dermott, Benton, Bee Branch, Clarksville, Newport, DeWitt, Batesville, North Little Rock

No one in any state won the $145,000,000 jackpot, so the jackpot for Friday night’s draw increases to $168 Million.

Both Mega Millions and Powerball are multi-state draw games, with drawings twice a week and many prizes in addition to the jackpot amounts that begin at $12 Million and $20 Million respectively.  The tickets cost $1, with the option to buy a $1 “multiplier” that will increase  your winnings by 2, 3, 4 or even 5 times, depending on the draw.

Be sure to watch KARK 4 News at 10pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights for the exclusive live Mega Millions and Powerball drawings.
