If you are training to do the marathon, half marathon or relay, in the Little Rock race, there is only one section of the course that is totally flat.
Training on hills will build your stamina and endurance which is real important in the last stages of the race.
An important hill running training technique tip: run perpendicular to the hill. If you go too far back and sit on your heels, you'll have an inefficient heel stride, and if you run too far forward, you'll cut off your air.
