Training Tip 10: Run a Practice Race

Training Tip 10 from Little Rock Marathon Coach Tom Singleton:
Now that we're into the double digits of training here's a tip. Try to incorporate maybe a 5k or 10k into your training routine, replacing one of your shorter runs and give you some race experience.
There's nothing like the feeling of being at the start line ready to go to get that experience and know how you are going to feel come race day. Plus, at the end of your training run for that day, you get a t-shirt. How good is that?
