A family visit has proved very profitable for a Mountain View woman.

On the way to see her parents recently in Wynne, Katherine Creasey bought a Mega Millions lottery ticket.

It turned out to be worth $250,000.

Today she drove to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Claims Center in Little Rock to claim her prize.

The Stone County woman bought the ticket at Jordan's Kwik Stop 19 at 1450 North Falls Blvd. in Wynne (Cross County).

She said that the first person she told about her good fortune was her Dad. She says she will be saving her winnings and says that from now on, she will pay that extra $1 for the Megaplier, which would have made her prize one-million-dollars.
