Walnut Ridge Man Wins $40,000 on Lottery Scratch-offs

A Walnut Ridge man is $40,000 richer thanks to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.

Jerrod Denton claimed his prize today at the lottery's Jonesboro Claim Center.  

He won the $40,000 on two Cool Cash instant tickets purchased at Kum and Go at 4810 East Highland in Jonesboro.  

He said that he told his parents first when he realized he was a double winner.
