One-Quarter of Public School Students Attend Problem Schools

That's the word from a back-to-school survey conducted by the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University.
The survey shows that 27-percent of kids between the ages of 12 and 17 said their public school is both gang and drug infested, meaning drugs are used, kept or sold on school grounds.
And 46-percent said there were gangs in their schools.
