Powerball Jackpot Grows to $170 Million

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: May 20, 2010
No grand prize winner Wednesday night gave the Powerball jackpot another boost. Up for grabs in the next drawing on Saturday will be $170 million.

Even though the grand prize was not awarded last night, seven lucky tickets in Arizona, Illinois (2), Indiana, Kentucky, New Jersey, and Oregon matched all 5 white numbers and won $200,000 cash each.

In addition, 1,007,968 tickets across the nation won a total of $7,803,853 in prizes.

Wednesday's winning numbers were 2 - 7 - 29 - 55 - 58, PB 27, Power Play x3.

Sixteen tickets sold in Arkansas won $300 prizes for matching either four white balls or three white balls and the Powerball while also having the Power Play option.

Players should carefully check their tickets after every draw. Even if there are no jackpot winners there are always tens of thousands of winners at other prize levels.

KARK 4 is the only Little Rock television station where players can watch live Powerball and Mega Millions drawings.

A live stream of the drawings is also available right here on ArkansasMatters.com.

Powerball drawings in the Little Rock television market air only on KARK 4 each Wednesday and Saturday night at 10 o'clock, while Mega Millions drawings air Tuesday and Friday night at 10 o'clock.
