Powerball Jackpot Climbs to $120M

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: May 13, 2010
The Powerball jackpot is up to 120-million-dollars after Wednesday's drawing failed to produce a grand prize winner.

The numbers drawn last night were 37 - 51 - 52 - 53 - 58, PB 38, Power Play x2.

One lucky ticket sold in Oregon matched all five white numbers with the Power Play and won $1-million cash. This was a result of the Power Play feature that turns any match five white ball win with the Power Play into a 5x multiplier and pushes the prize up to $1 million.

Seven tickets from Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, and Texas matched five white balls and won $200,000 cash each. In addition, 756,833 tickets across the nation won a total of $6,472,892 in prizes.

In Arkansas, 11 Powerball tickets won $200 prizes for matching either four white balls with the Power Play or three white balls with the Powerball and the Power Play.

The cash option for Saturday's drawing will be an estimated 61.2-million-dollars.

Players should carefully check their tickets after every draw. Even if there are no jackpot winners there are always tens of thousands of winners at other prize levels.
