Best Fund-raising Cookbook in the Country

If you go to the bookstore and look in the cooking section, youll find hundreds of options when it comes to cookbooks. Only one was recently chosen as the best fundraising cookbook in the country and its full of recipes from the kitchens of Arkansans. The Junior League of Little Rocks newest cookbook, Big Taste of Little Rock, has been named Best Fundraising Cookbook in the United States by Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. The League will receive the official award at the Paris Cookbook Fair on February 11, 2010 and will be eligible to win an award for Best Fundraising Cookbook in the World. Big Taste of Little Rock is full of recipes submitted by League members, the community, and professional chefs in the area. It is the culmination of two years, more than 500 recipes and thousands of tastings. The book also features colorful pictures and brief histories of various landmarks. This is the fourth cookbook the League has published. All cookbook sales fund the Leagues various community projects.
