National Menorah Lighting in Washington

Thousands gathered on the National Mall in Washington, DC in the rain last night for the 30th Annual National Menorah Lighting.

The U.S. Air Force Band was there, along with Menorah kits, donuts and dreidels.

Rabbi Levy Shemtov led the ceremony.

President Obama's Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, who is Jewish, lit the Menorah.
