Little Rock Parks and Recreation is hosting another informational meeting tonight as part of its free running/walking training programs associated with the Little Rock Marathon.

Tonight's topic is Injury Prevention, presented by Lace Luedke, who will go over injury prevention techniques during training and why it is important.

The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. in the Fulton Room of the Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock.

The 8th running of the Little Rock Marathon will take place March 7, 2010. To prepare prospective athletes across the country, the Little Rock Marathon and Little Rock Parks & Recreation offer free training programs across the state led by RRCA (Road Runners Club of America) certified coaches. The Little Rock Marathon is one of the few marathons in the country to offer a free training program.

KARK 4 is a proud sponsor of the Little Rock Marathon Training Program.
