Big Kick-off Ceremony Planned for AR Lottery

At the stroke of midnight on Monday, Arkansans will be able to buy their first tickets in the new state lottery.
Only scratch-off tickets will be available for the first few weeks, with Powerball ticket sales starting October 31st and state draw game ticket sales beginning on December 14th.
On Monday, the "Ceremonial Sale of the First Ticket of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery" will take place at the Murphy USA station located at 23800 Chenal Parkway. That location is the intersection of Chenal and Cantrell (Highway 10) next to the Walmart store.
Guests and other celebrants and observers will start gathering there at 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, for the big event.
