I Support Race For The Cure Because I'm a Survivor

I was diagnosed with breast cancer on July 24, 09 – I am now going through chemo and then six weeks of radiation. With the Race for the Cure fast approaching – I wanted to share the story of what the company that I work for has done for me. The day before I had my first surgery they gave a luncheon for me to show their support and concern for me.  Now they have set up a cot so that I may rest when I need to - I even have a curtain – I would like to challenge every company in America to be as compassionate as my employers have been.  It makes this very difficult time in my life more manageable.
And then there is our Sunday School Class that have prepared meals for us - at least three times a week! What praises we have!
