Snakes escaped on a plane heading to Melbourne, Australia.
The BBC reports the Qantas passenger jet was grounded after four baby pythons slithered out of their container in the airliner's cargo hold.
The snakes were just six inches long and among a group of 12 pythons on the plane.
A Qantas official said the plane was fumigated to kill the snakes, but their remains have not yet been found.
