Smooth Sailing for Lottery Legislation

There's little, if anything, standing in the way of Arkansas having its own lottery sooner rather than later.

Both the full House and Senate on Wednesday approved legislation that will create a lottery commission and send the net proceeds from the state lottery into a fund for college scholarships.

The identical bills passed both chambers unanimously.
