First Superman Comic Book up for Grabs

Today's the deadline to get bids in for a comic book that is expected to go for a super amount of money.

"Action Comics" Number One from 1938 is the issue in which Superman made his debut and a book in "fine" condition is up for auction.

Bidding was last approaching 300-thousand dollars.

Stephen Fishler from Metropolis Collectibles in New York is running the auction and says this one 1938 comic book created a cultural phenomenon that echoes to this day through superheroes like Batman and Spider-Man.
