A man wanted in two Arkansas counties is jailed in Lonoke after being found hiding in the attic of a home in Furlow. Lonoke County Sheriff's deputies arrested Mathis Leon Orrell (pictured at left), 32, inside a home on Highway 89 on Monday morning.
Deputies say Orrell was first spotted outside the home near the Furlow Grocery, but then ran inside and climbed into the attic.
At one point, his foot came through the ceiling before officers arrested him.
Orrell had outstanding Lonoke County arrest warrants for fleeing and endangering the welfare of minors.
He had another warrant from Lincoln County for an unknown offense.
