The video game industry is also feeling the national and global economic pinch.

The "Los Angeles Times" reports Electronic Arts, Inc. announced yesterday it would probably miss projected sales and profit margins for the current fiscal year.

EA had hoped to bring in around five billion dollars by March 2009.

Electronic Arts, Inc. is the world's largest video game maker.
