9:00 a.m. - Chris Brown is Big Winner at American Music Awards

 Chris Brown was the big winner in last night's 2008 American Music Awards ceremony.

He hauled home three trophies including the top one, Artist of the Year.

He also won for favorite male artist in the Pop/Rock Music group and for favorite male artist in the Soul/Rhythm & Blues Music category.

Rihanna, who took home two awards was named favorite female artist in both the Soul/R&B and Pop/Rock Music categories.

The event broadcast from Hollywood was hosted by funnyman Jimmy Kimmel.

Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Pink, Ne-Yo, the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cirus all performed during the show.
