The books include Romp Stomp Waddle Home, a fun magnet book where readers help Hanna guide the animals from wacky human locations like the ice cream shop back to their natural habitats; and Passport Into The Wild, where readers travel by Hanna’s side across all seven continents to experience exciting cultures and animals.
After the signing, Hanna will entertain questions as part of Unreliable Sources, a nationally-syndicated talk show featuring guest and viewer calls from around the country. Unreliable Sources is America's only live nightly viewer call-in show and is hosted by Gary Lee Robbins, Jason Roberts and Elizabeth Holmes.
Currently seen in 30 markets and produced by RTN in Little Rock, Unreliable Sources’ recent guests have included Regis Philbin, Kenny Chesney, Tony Dow, Ethan Suplee and Denise Austin. The Unreliable Sources shoot is free with admission to BOO AT THE ZOO.
Tickets to BOO are $4 for Zoo members and $5 for nonmembers and can be obtained at the Zoo’s main gate. The Civitan Amphitheatre’s capacity is 300 seats, and overflow capacity into the Zoo’s main plaza is 2,000. Admission and seats for the show are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
BOO AT THE ZOO is Arkansas’ largest Halloween festival, offering trick-or-treating in a safe environment and a variety of fun Halloween activities such as the Haunted House ($1); Fun House ($1); midway and ride carnival rides ($1 to $4); the “Haunted Train ($2); the “little punkins’ play patch,” or enjoy a variety of foods being sold on the midway.
While costumes are optional, BOO will host a costume contest at 6:30 p.m. on the stage of the Civitan Amphitheater where prizes will be awarded.
