2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 cups quick oatmeal
1 cup butterscotch chips
Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. In a medium bowl, cream butter, oil, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time. Gradually stir in flour mixture until well blended. Mix in oatmeal and butterscotch chips. Drop from a teaspoon onto a ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees or until the edges are golden. Remove and cool.
