Timothy Bodkin, 38, is being held without bond pending a hearing today.
Bodkin is a former fireman for the Benton Fire Department.
The Saline County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) says it received information last week from the
Arkansas Internet Crimes Against Children (ARICAC) Task Force that Bodkin was allegedly downloading images.
During the investigation, search warrants were obtained for the computer that is believed to be owned by Bodkin. The SCSO says images were found on the computer.
On Friday, the search warrants were served by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task force (made up of the SCSO, Arkansas State Police, Pine Bluff Police, and Homeland Security). Members of the ICAC Task Force in Northwest Arkansas made contact with Bodkin in Eureka Springs and arrested him when he arrived at a North Little Rock bus station.
The SCSO says the investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to call the Saline County Sheriff's Office at (501) 303-5608.
