LITTLE ROCK, AR -- According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), about 1 in 88 children are diagnosed with autism, and it can be difficult for families to find out where to get help.

Next month, the Team Up Autism Conference will be in Little Rock to provide some of that help.

The conference will take place at the Embassy Suites Hotel on Financial Centre Parkway April 1-3.

Developmental pediatricians say conferences like this are a great opportunity.

"For them to get access to national and local speakers, and experts in the field of autism so they can then review the latest information and research regarding interventions that are deemed affective," says developmental pediatrician Dr. Jill Fussell.

The deadline to register is March 15.
