Finding an unusual Valentine's Day gift is a challenge, but an Arkansas-based agency that helps people all over the world hopes you'll consider what it has to offer.

Heifer Project International has a Valentine's Day gift section on its website, offering gems like these:
  • Give a flock of chicks to the sweetest chick you know ($20)
  • Give a heifer to the one that mooooooooves you ($500, or share $50)
  • Give a dairy goat to the one that always gets your goat ($120, or share $10)
Other options include: honeybees ($30), a trio of rabbits ($60, or share $10), llamas ($150, or share $20), and a water buffalo ($250, or share $25).

Giving a share of one of these options costs as little as 10-dollars, with prices to provide one of the larger animals going up to 500-dollars.

Giving one of these gifts will help families around the world put food on their table and money in their pocket.

In the case of a dairy goat, the Heifer website states: "The gift of a dairy goat can supply a family with up to several quarts of nutritious milk a day - a ton of milk a year."
