One of the bills would require parole violators to serve the remainder of their earlier sentence, and another would require a parolee to be arrested if they commit a violent or sexual offense.
The third bill would include sexual offenses and other felonies as being not eligible for mandatory parole, and the fourth would redefine how the state tracks how many parolees have re-offended.
These bills haven't yet been heard, but stick with ArkansasMatters.com for updates on their process at the capitol.
