Arkansas Closer to Having 2nd State-Run Veterans Home

Arkansas is one step closer to having a second state-run veterans home.

The senate unanimously sent a bill to Governor Mike Beebe giving the Department of Veterans Affairs the ability to select a site for a new home.

The old state-run veterans home in Little Rock was shut down last summer because of poor management and living conditions.
