LITTLE ROCK, AR - Four suspects were arrested in connection to last Tuesday's burglary of the Westside Pharmacy in Benton. Police estimate they recovered medication with a total street value of $1.3 million.

The two day investigation led detectives to search nine different properties in Benton, Malvern, Hot Springs, and Bismarck. Arrested are Dollie Bevaux, 24, William Thompson, 33, James Owens, 38, and Joseph Thrulow, 22.

Thompson, Owens, and Thrulow were all charged with 2 counts commercial burglary, theft of property, possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to deliver, use of another persons property to commit a crime, and 2 counts criminal mischief.  Devaux was charged with possession of controlled substance without a prescription.

Anyone with more information about the burglary and the stolen medication is encouraged to call Benton Police at 501-778-1171 or 315-TIPS.

Assisting the Benton Police were the Benton Patrol Division, Benton Special Investigative Unit and Criminal Investigative Division, Arkansas State Police, Hot Springs Police Department, Group 6 Drug Task Force, DEA Tactical Diversion Unit, Garland County Sheriff's Office, and the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy.

Comments

Dollie admitted to anyone who would listen to her complain, proudly and quite openly, to stealing drugs from Westside Pharmacy and Bill has been selling the "candy" for the last year. Her words and his..... to ANYONE and EVERYONE who was in earshot. Coincidentally, she happened to have been hired by Westside immediately prior to the last time they got robbed, April of 2012. Hmmm... call me a cynic, but I just cannot believe it was coincidental.
