Arkansas' school choice law is in the limelight in St. Louis.

The 8th District Court of Appeals is hearing the case after a federal judge in Hot Springs declared the law unconstitutional.

The suit was brought by a group of white students who were denied a transfer because of race.

Although transfers are currently illegal, the court did allow students who have already transferred to stay at their new schools while the decision is appealed.
