Officials with the Little Rock Marathon have unveiled the 2013 version of the race finisher's medal via the marathon's YouTube channel.

The Little Rock Marathon will be held March 2 - 3 in downtown.

The 2013 Little Rock Marathon finisher's medal is in the shape of a horseshoe. It measures 8 inches long and weighs 2 pounds, 12 ounces.

In years past, the marathon has been recognized for having the "world's largest marathon finisher's medal."

Race day is Sunday, March 3rd. In addition to the marathon, there is a half marathon, 10K, 5K Fun Run/Walk and the Little Rockers Kids Marathon.

Participants in all events can run, walk or do a combination of running and walking in any of the events.

Before race day there is a free two-day health and fitness expo on March 1 - 2 in the Statehouse Convention Center.
