From the Oaklawn Media Relations Manager:

"Oaklawn has been forced to cancel its live race cards for Saturday, Jan. 12 and Sunday, Jan. 13 due to unsafe track conditions caused by heavy rains.

The day-long down pour has caused several places in the track to wash out and the track crew will take Sunday and early next week to make the necessary repairs.

Live racing returns Thursday, January 17 with a 1:30 p.m. first post. This will be a special five-day race week with the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday card, Monday, Jan. 21. "
