Congressman Tim Griffin Talks Military Budget Cuts at LRAFB

Congressman Tim Griffin the latest Arkansas politician to pay a visit to Little Rock Air Force Base today, as the Pentagon weighs military budget cuts.
Griffin talked to base commanders about those proposed cuts and changes for the base including active duty personnel and some of its C-130 cargo fleet.
But the congressman says the cuts are a great opportunity for the reserve and guard, thanks to new resources headed their way.
"what i try to emphasize to folks is the mission here little rock air force base is not changing, they will continue to perform their missions with excellence and will continue to be the leader for C-130 training, said Congressman Griffin."
There are more than 8,000 active duty personnel at LRAFB.
